Natural Resources and Sustainability sets the stage for understanding the precipice for which the survival of humanity delicately balances. Students will learn about the four scientific principles of sustainability and how these principles of can be applied to create a more environmentally sustainable society. Causes of environmental problems will be explored including the Tragedy of the Commons. Students will analyze how their consumer choices directly impact the planet by tracking their personal energy and water usage and waste.
